Holzbau und Ausbau, the International Trade Fair for Wood, Roof and Dry Construction, is the key exhibition for the carpentry and structural timber building trade and its partners in the building trade. The trade fair Holzbau und Ausbau takes place every two years, alternating between the exhibition venues of Nurnberg and Friedrichshafen, Lake Constance.


At the 2002 event in Nurnberg, 23,914 visitors — experts and private owner-builders — gathered information from 294 exhibitors from nine countries.
