The exhibition of the import and export goods of the light industry East China Fair gives to visitors an opportunity to study all spectrum of clothes and textiles applied in tailoring, house using and industrial purposes. The trading exhibition East China Fair is the main contributor of goods and international business connections for the Chinese internal market of the textile industry and manufacture of fashionable clothes. The exhibition East China Fair is held in Shanghai annually within 6 days with the support of 9 provinces and cities: Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, Jiangxi, Shandong Province and two cities Nanjing and Ningbo. For the first time the exhibition East China Fair was organised in 1991 and there had been exposed  18 sessions of consumer goods. At the last exhibition 60 000 citizens of China and more than 20 500 persons from 150 countries and regions were registered.

                          

The exhibition East China Fair will settle down in two specialised pavilions with standard exhibition stands, galleries. Within the limits of the exhibition displays of fashionable clothes for men and women, and as novelties of children"s fashion will be carryed out. At the exhibition East China Fair for consumer goods will be divided into three directions: textiles and fabrics of industrial value, home textiles and gifts, fashionable clothes and accessories. Seminars and conferences which will be held for experts of the textile industry, will include analyses of the basic questions about  possibilities of replacement of natural fibres on ecologically pure synthetic fibres, application of  new equipment and care of separate kinds of fabrics.
