The international exhibition of wine and spirits Vinexpo is created in 1981 by Chamber of the industry and trade of Bordeaux. For years of its carrying out Vinexpo has affirmed as quality of one of the major events in the branch over the world. It proves also the statistican. In 1981 the production was represented by 524 exhibitors, Vinexpo then have visited 11 000 professional visitors from 50 countries of the world. In therecent years the number of exhibitors is more than 3000 people from 47countries, on the exhibition area of 12 000 sq. m. , and the number of visitors is more than 48 958 people from 138 countries.   Vinexpo is not only the exhibition on which the wide assortment of spirits from all continents is presented. It also a place for an exchange of experience, debate, conferences, seminars with participation of the leading companies of the world occupied with manufacture of spirits. Here are defined a status and prospects of the further development of branch. Separate conferences are devoted the balanced and moderate consumption of alcohol. Vinexpo each odd year is spent in Bordeaux and each evenyear in Hongkong.
