Building of the Stuttgart New Exhibition Centre began in summer of 2004? it opens in 2007. Location of the Messe Stuttgart Exhibition centre and its nearness to the airport are great advantages and they make it better place for organization of events than others. Indoor exhibition area is 100,000 м2, outdoor exhibition area is 40,000 м2. Besides there is a congress centre with conference hall for about 5,000 people, several smaller halls for 2,700 people and different events rooms for 1,700 people.
Around 40 internal professional exhibitions and about 20 other events take place in the Messe Stuttgart annually. Due to the new exhibition centre with conference hall Stuttgart will become a centre of numerous congresses and conferences. The Stuttgart New Exhibition Centre is directly connected with the ICE High-speed Railroad and the motorway, which is an innovation of European exhibition centres.
