Statistics of the event:

• Total exhibition area – 5854 m2. inclusive open area –  150 m2.
• Number of participants – 173 inclusive the foreign participants – 23 from 9 countries.
• Number of trade visitors  – 10895 inclusive experts – 6373.

Visitors: chiefs and experts of coercive ministries and departments, who are responsible for delivering the resource and for purchases; experts operating on the market of security equipment and technologies; experts of project, mounting and construction companies; employees of specialized departments within coercive ministries and departments of Ukraine (representatives of local, regional administrations, etc.); chiefs and employees in security service of industrial enterprises, of financial intermediary, of transport infrastructure; business and entertainment establishments complexes; chiefs and experts of forest farms, of armories and hunting companies; representatives of manufacturers and distributors of light industry; representatives of other state and commercial entities.

       

The principal tasks of fair: assisting in perfecting the technological level of law enforcement and coercive organizations, who provide the personal security, private property security as well as security of society an state, who are responsible for defense of country and protection of the state board, for fighting the terrorism; searching and promoting the perspective design of new weapon and the special-purpose machinery; developing cooperation of Ukraine with foreign countries in technical sphere; demonstration of novelties on the market of hunting and official weapon.

Being organized for the first time in the year 2004, the fair «Arms and Security» was destined to show the scientific and industrial capacity of Ukraine in producing the security equipment. So far it has confirmed the right of Ukraine to have a large-scaled forum of protecting equipment, special-purpose machinery and arms. The fair also has conquered the authority among the native and foreign manufacturers of the said sort of production.
