The Holiday and Health Fair in Berne, the FESPO in Zurich, the Vacances, Sports & Loisirs in Geneva and the Basel Holiday Fair are four of the largest and most important events in Switzerland with respect to travel, leisure and health. All four events, with the exception of the one in Berne, are organized by Wigra Expo AG. The Holiday Fair in Berne is organized by FairCom AG, which belongs to the Wigra Group.

The Holiday Fair shares the Exhibition Center Basel with a strong and attractive partner - the muba. Over 30,000 visitors are expected to visit the 250 holiday and travel exhibitors spread out over 8,800 m2. The fair draws visitors from the economically strong Basel area, northwest Switzerland, southwest Germany and the Elsass region of France. The grouping of travel destinations or themes is designed to make it easier for the visitors to find their way through the fair. The planned groupings include:

Asian Village — Main theme Asia, focusing on individual travel in Asia as well as information on culture, history, trekking and Asian culinary delights

South America — Main theme Latin America, focusing on its people, culture, history and natural wonders

Wellness — Main theme wellness, focusing on wellness-holidays, oases of tranquillity and overcoming stress

Coach travel — Main theme coach travel, with the presence of attractive coaches — including on-site offers as well as tours to beach destinations and city tours

Camper and caravan travel — Main theme camper and caravan travel, including on-site caravans as well as camping and outdoor equipment

Family holidays — Main theme family holidays and travelling

Environmentally sound travel — Main theme alternative holidays, focusing on travelling with respect for the environment

«Am Bebbi sy Region» — Main theme local holidays and offerings from the Basel region, including regional hotels, restaurants, local sport offerings as well as local cultural events and leisure activities
