SIMM, Madrid International Fashion Fair, has once again ratified its position as an unquestionable benchmark for the international fashion industry.
In the last edition, we had 499 exhibiting companies and 861 trademarks of which 512 were national and 349 were foreign. These firms valued positively the quality and purchase intention of the 12,313 trade visitors who attended the event, highlighting the increase in foreign visitors from high-interest markets such as Russia, Kuwait, Dubai and Saudi Arabia. Altogether, the show received buyers of almost 61 nationalities, including Portuguese, Italians, French, English, Greeks, Irish and Germans, who stood out on account of their numbers, as well as those from Latin American countries. As regards national visitors, the following autonomous regions, in order of origin, stood out: Madrid, Andalusia, the Autonomous Region of Valencia, Catalonia, Castilla y León, Castilla-La Mancha and Galicia.
SIMM assembled once again, near 20.000 square meters(net)of exhibition floor space, the show brought together a comprehensive, trade-visitor-targeted offering, which is unique in Spain owing to its variety and diversity, where major prestigious international trademarks and their different fashion concepts played a prominent role.
