In the most up-to-date expocentre of Moscow will be represented new collections by international and Russian manufacturers of children’s and teenagers wear, also by Russian designers and design studios.
Accompanying the income growth of Russian families since 1999 the growth rate grows too, and, correspondingly, the demand for children’s goods grows as well. For many parents, the key factor of choosing the product is the quality and the brand prestigiousness. Meeting the demand of the Russian market, new Russian manufacturers of children’s wear emerge, as well as foreign companies spur on their activity. The number of stores specializing in children’s brands is growing. Fashion centres start designers’ lines for children. Children’s fashion is becoming as serious business as fashion for adults already is.
II International trade fair for children’s and teenagers’ wear KID & JUNIOR FASHION will take along with the VIII International Trade Fair for Street and Casual Wear JEANS, the only one and the biggest show in Russia reflecting the present state of the Russian youth wear, footwear and accessories market. In February, 2005, the total number of JEANS and KJF attendees made 9,300 people from 16 countries and 88 Russian cities, 85% of them were specialists, 69 % of them were wholesalers and retailers, 94 % were decision-makers and 68 % were CEOs of their enterprises and organizations.
