Выставка Orthodox Russia

Since 2003 the All-Church exhibition Orthodox Russia has been held in Moscow upon blessing of Holy Patriarchy of Moscow and All-Russia Alexy II in a magnificent hall of Gostiny Dvor. The exhibition has become an event in the life of the Russian Orthodox Church and in the cultural life of Russia. The official inauguration of the exhibition is headed by Holy Patriarchy of Moscow and All-Russia Alexy II.

It is a sole Orthodox exhibition featuring a wide panorama of ecclesiastical life, social activity of the Russian Orthodox Church as well as the activity of secular organizations related to the Orthodoxy. The feedback aroused by the exhibition is a vivid evidence of the revival of our people, increasing interest to history, traditions, culture of our Fatherland. A special significance of the exhibition is maintenance of a dialog between the church, state and society. The exhibition is covered by all central TV channels, leading radio stations and printing houses.

Holy Patriarchy of Moscow and All-Russia Alexy II is Chairman of the Tutorial’s of the exhibitions. A regular Organizing Committee is headed by Chairman of the Department for External Church Relations of Moscow Patriarchy, metropolitan Smolensky and Kaliningradsky, Kirill. In 2004 Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church have blessed the holding of the exhibition on an annual basis and recognized it useful for Synod establishments of Moscow Patriarchy, dioceses of the Russian Orthodox Church, monasteries and religious schools to participate in the annual editions Orthodox Russia.
