Prato Expo, first held in 1979, is one of the most important international trade fairs in the textile sector. Prato Expo presents the collections of the most prestigious fabric manufacturers for fashion womenswear and casual menswear.
It is held within MILANO UNICA exhibition.- The Italian Textile Fair. The visitors of Prato Expo are coming from the main markets as Europe - USA - and Far East.

The importance of Prato Expo is also heightened by fact that it is the expression of a major industrial district, characterized by small and medium enterprises. The turnover in the textile sector for the Prato district amounts, indeed, to as much as 4,500 million euro, and 55% of this production is exported.
