Entrance: Trade visitors only. ISH Kitchen+Bath, Middle East’s leading industry event for design led kitchens and bathrooms has announced support from the Association for Professional Interior Designers (APID) and participation on this year’s prestigious conference panel. The ISH Design Conference, that runs during May 25 -27 at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, in parallel with the show, is already recognized as one of the most engaging, provocative and inspiring conferences offered regionally, thanks to an assembly of impressive designers and celebrities such as Johnny Grey, Wayne Hemingway and Michael Sieger. It is also the ideal platform for APID to assert its role and profile. Created to represent professional interior designers in the Gulf, the organisation is dedicated to elevating and promoting the highest standards of professional business practices for interior designers in the Middle East. «We do so through open exchange and sharing of information, creation of networking opportunities, and distribution of valuable business data», said Kenneth Laidler, Founder and President of APID. ISH Design Conference contributes to reinforcing the importance that interior design imparts on society today, and emphasizes the role of interior designers as a major economic force in the region. «Regional property developers, hospitality, retailers and other business sectors increasingly appreciate how design and design thinking can provide them with high-level, strategic value andcompetitive advantage, it raises the value of the services weprovide», added Laidler. The show brings together the best of trends, products and criticalinsights for the region’s industry professionals, and most importantlyaims towards design as the focus of the exhibition. Пресс-релиз выставки ISH Kitchen and Bath Middle East ISH Kitchen+Bath Middle East rescheduled to take place from 27 to 29 September 2009 – parallel to Light Middle East Synergies with visitor and exhibitor appeal ISH Kitchen+Bath Middle East 2009 has been rescheduled. This year, the fair will be taking place at the same time as Light Middle East, namely from 27 to 29 September, and not in the spring as originally planned. Epoc Messe Frankfurt GmbH are the organisers of both annual events, which are held at the International Exhibition Centre in Dubai. Whereas the product range at ISH Kitchen+Bath Middle East focuses on bathroom and kitchen fittings, Light Middle East presents lighting, intelligent light management systems and accessories. Dr. Michael Peters, Member of the Board of Management of Messe Frankfurt, explained the reason for postponing the fair: "Staging both trade shows together generates the necessary synergy, in terms of an integrated approach to the building, and boosts the fairs’ appeal to visitors and exhibitors alike". Not only does this synergy offer trade visitors an ideal, supplementary product range in one place, at the same time, but bundling the fairs together gives exhibitors access to a larger target group. When it comes to sustainable design and resource-saving solutions, the two events present all the major innovations and forward-looking products. "The benefits of an integrated approach to the building are evident, when it comes to achieving optimal results in the context of environmental protection and operating costs, especially in relation to the themes of sustainability and energy conservation," Michael Peters said. An extensive Green Building conference programme, which picks up on and explores the content of the product sectors in greater depth, adds to the appeal of the fairs. Entitled "Professional lighting for a more responsible future", the focal point of Light Middle East is Light Focus. Epoc Messe Frankfurt and the Professional Lighting Designers’ Association (PLDA) are the organisers. Messe Frankfurt is expecting some 90 exhibitors and 3,500 visitors, the same as for the previous event in 2008, to attend ISH Kitchen+Bath Middle East. Over 200 participating companies and approx. 4,700 fair guests are expected at Light Middle East. More information on the two events, as well as on the top international fairs ISH and Light+Building in Frankfurt am Main, is available online at: www.ish.messefrankfurt.com and www.light-building.messefrankfurt.com .
