Exhibition project “Innotech - 2009” is an unprecedented event in the market of high technologies for several reasons.

First of all there are no analogues for the exhibition in Russia. Several narrowly-directed events of a similar nature are conducted in the territory of the country, but none of them has a thematic spectrum exhibition of such wideness, does not occupy an exhibition area so extensive, does not bear influential state status and does not propose the highest level of service and infrastructure, which ensures the exhibition complex “of Crocus- Expos”.

Secondly, the interest in the technological progress and in the integration of innovative solutions into production on this stage of country development is visible with the naked eye. This interest comes both from the sector of private capital and from the side of state administration. In recent years the government has selected the development of technological base as the leitmotif of further strengthening the economic potential of our country. And this could mean only one thing - the exhibition originally has influential state support.

Thirdly, the interest of foreign companies, occupied in the sphere of high technologies, in the Russian market is now high as never before. Important foreign magnates, relying on the soft investment climate (thanks to the government’s activity), invest billions of Euros in the creation by highly technological facilities, in the development of production and scientific complexes, the building of laboratories and other science-intensive institutes in Russia. One of the basic tasks of the exhibition is to make possible for foreign companies to strengthen its positions on the Russian market or at least enter it.
