The Russian furniture community in its competitive struggle for a client aspires to overcome backlog from foreign developers and designers. Numerous seminars, conferences, specialized exhibition projects with participation of Russian and foreign experts are held aiming to provide for an exchange of experience in the area of manufacture, design and ergonomics. The International Specialized Exhibition Furniture Club, initiated and organized by Crocus Expo IEC where practically all national and a number of foreign furniture manufacturers are presented has been recognized as one of the largest shows in Russia.

National companies formed the essential part of the exposition Furniture Club, because the organizers of the exhibition were focused to support national producers and to promote competitive ability of national producers above all. The exposition expands at the expense of new companies" participation. It is quite evident that the exhibition Furniture Club during several editions became the context to create an international platform for the cooperation in the furniture sector. The fair was a meeting point for demonstration of new trends and debating about current issues regarding the furniture industry all over the world. The project offered a global view of the current trends according to different aspects of the business management: production, environment, technological development, technical abilities, etc.
