Since 1994 The Ministry of Communication of the Republic of Belarus holds the largest exhibition on telecommunications, information and bank technologies - TIBO.
International Exhibition and Congress TIBO made a significant contribution to the development of informatization of the Republic of Belarus. Each year, employees of communications and other businesses and organizations that specialize in the development and using of information technology, were able to familiarize themselves with the latest hardware and software, trends in all sectors of the information sphere. Demonstration of existing information technology contributes to their wide application in all sectors of the economy, social sphere, public administration.

  

The exhibition and congress TIBO in different years for the first time in the country identified and discussed actual problems of development of the information sphere of the Republic of Belarus, demonstrated technological innovations, which are then widely distributed in the Belarusian market

Either directly or through their representatives, the largest domestic and foreign manufacturers of telecommunications equipment, computers and software, and security systems take part in this exhibition. Over the years, exhibitions have established close business contacts between Belarusian enterprises, the world"s largest providers of information technology, has opened a number of joint ventures and representative offices of foreign firms.

Traditionally, the preparation and holding of the forum TIBO involved: Ministry of Communications and Informatization, Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Information, National Bank, The National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the State Committee on Science and Technology, Operations and Analysis Center under the President of the Republic of Belarus, NGO «Information Society», Association of Belarusian banks, the Minsk City Council, the Ministry of Education, Belarusian State University, Belarusian National Technical University, Belarusian State University Informatics and Radioelectronics, JSC «Engineering and communication», which make up the composition of the Organizing Committee and Program Committee of Congress.
