Russian market has an enormous potential in the sphere of development of alternative types of energy and is likely to become one of the key players in the global alternative energetics market in future.

The 2nd International Specialized Exhibition ALTERNATIVE ENERGY RESOURCES-2012 will be held on October 6–9, 2012 on the territory of All-Russian Exhibition Center (Moscow) in hall 55. The main goal of the exhibition is to promote innovation technologies, goods and services in the sphere of renewable power engineering in Russia. The exhibition proved to be the only professional event in Russia related to this direction, and it drew huge interest from the widest number of participants. The leading companies in the sphere of renewable power engineering succeeded in demonstrating the latest technologies, equipment and innovative developments, as well as in concluding contracts and establishing new contacts.

 

In the 1st International Specialized Exhibition ALTERNATIVE ENERGY RESOURCES-2008, which was held on April 24-28, 2008, 132 companies from 16 regions of Russia and 10 foreign countries took part. The exhibition occupied the area of about 2,000 sq.m. Over 3,000 specialists from 54 regions of Russia and 5 foreign countries visited the exposition. Over 400 people took part in the forum Alternative Energy-2008. It is important to mention, that upon the completion of the exhibition more than 40 companies submitted their preliminary applications for participation in the 2nd international specialized exhibition ALTERNATIVE ENERGY RESOURCES-2012.

This year, the exposition of the exhibition is going to cover over 2,500 sq.m., and the number of participants will increase up to 150 companies. The main topics of the exhibition 2011 were declared Bioenergetics and Small Energetics. In the framework of the exhibition, there will be held a Forum ALTERNATIVE ENERGY RESOURCES-2012 that will include the International Congress “Bioenergy-2011”, the 1st International Conference “Small Energetics-2009” and a number of workshops, round table discussions and presentations of companies. Representatives of the state authorities and leading specialists of the industry will talk on the state and perspectives of the branch progress, and will present both Russian, and foreign innovative developments in this sphere.
