From the 16th to the 19th of September, 2009 the II International specialized exhibition of agricultural machinery Аgrosalon will be held in Moscow.
The exhibition is organized by the Russian Union of Agricultural Manufacturers Soyuzagromash; 30 thousand visitors are expected to come. The first International specialized exhibition of agricultural machinery Аgrosalon held in “Crocus Expo” in November of 2008 was named as «Event of the autumn» by the Russian mass-media.
The specialized exhibition of agricultural machinery Аgrosalon confirmed the status of the global area for agricultural business specialists, where modern agricultural machines are demonstrated, progressive ideas are generated, topics of current interest are discussed and, of course, answers to sensitive issues are found. 


Business and educational programs
The business and educational programs remain an important component of Аgrosalon-2009. Seminars and conferences, panel discussions and presentations will be devoted to relevant events of the year and will cover main development trends in agriculture and agricultural engineering, as well as in the use of modern resource-saving agricultural technologies.
The high point of Аgrosalon will be the independent professional competition of innovative machinery. The jury will see the know-how of the companies in the area of agricultural engineering, as well as the unique design solutions.
With the support of the Union of Journalists of Russia we are planning to realize a creative competition among the specialized printed and electronic mass-media for the best article devoted to Аgrosalon. On the last day of the exhibition the scientific and practical student conference Agropokolenie and the career fair will be held.

Agrosalon-2009

From the 16th to the 19th of September, 2009 the II International specialized exhibition of agricultural machinery Agrosalon will be held in Moscow. The exhibition is organized by the Russian Union of Agricultural Manufacturers Soyuzagromash; 30 thousand visitors are expected to come.

The first International specialized exhibition of agricultural machinery Аgrosalon held in “Crocus Expo” in November of 2008 was named as «Event of the autumn» by the Russian mass-media.
The exhibition showed high interest of the companies in the event: in 2008 164 companies from 12 countries of the world became participants of Аgrosalon, while 21 253 specialists from 35 countries visited the exhibition.
The main audience of the exhibition Аgrosalon is formed by directors of big agricultural holdings and companies (49.4%), specialists (44.3%), young scientists and students from agricultural institutes of Russia (6.3%).
The exhibition was officially supported by the minister of agriculture of the Russian Federation А.V. Gordeyev, Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, etc.

Many foreign specialists compare Аgrosalon to highly awarded international areas. «Аgrosalon is a remarkable international event of the industry and it ranks among the largest expositions of agricultural machinery, such as Agrotechnika in Hannover and SIMA in Paris», believes the director of the German Union of Agricultural Engineers VDMA Landtechnik Berndt Schehrer. «It seems to me that Russia lacked such a specialized exhibition before. «Now specialists from all over the world have an excellent opportunity to regularly meet, exchange experience and share new ideas in Аgrosalon», Schehrer asserts.

The distinctive feature of Аgrosalon-2009 will be exposition areas that will grow up to 50 thousand square meters. Thus, Аgrosalon will get another hall, the third one. Visitors of the exhibition will also have broader opportunities. By expanding exposition areas, organizers intend to present to the attention of visitors of Аgrosalon-2009 about 1 000 units of machinery and equipment. The exposition will include 18 main sections:
