Launched over 20 years ago, The Abu Dhabi International Motor Show is one of the most established automobile exhibitions in the Middle East. With a completely new management, a new state of-the art venue and a new brand identity, the 2008 exhibition is the largest and most comprehensive motor show in the Middle East this year. Capitalising on Abu Dhabi"s extraordinary economic boom, the show is growing at a phenomenal rate, and has positioned itself as one of the foremost automobile exhibitions in the region.

This must-attend event is held once every two years, and this year will see its appearance at the all-new Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, 17 — 21, December 2008, providing a wealth of opportunities for exhibitors, sponsors and partner organisations over the 5 days.

More than 53,000 car enthusiasts visited the 11th edition of ADIMS. The visitor data clearly indicated that over 20% of our visitors were from the neighboring countries such as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, India and Iran. The show was hounded by the visits of many sheiks and royal family members, especially with the visit of: Sheikh Hamed Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Sheikh Abdullah Bin Mohamed Bin Khaled Al Nahyan, Sheikh Mansour Bin Mohamed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, H. E. Dr. Ali Al Kaabi, the Minister of Labour. The 12th Abu Dhabi International Motor Show 2008 takes place in December and is expected to attract more than 100,000 visitors.
