Underground city 2009 international exhibit project is launched in Moscow for the fifth time this year. Our project as an annual event has already developed into a traditional undertaking. Our project ensures extensive provision of information about the assimilation of underground areas in cities and towns.

The concept of underground structures is as old as the hills. Let us look back at the Catacombs erected by ancient craftsmen, as well as the cellars and conduits that date back to Middle Ages. Nowadays, development of the underground construction industry has gained unprecedented momentum. Advanced equipment and technology ensure resolution of vital problems, including development of the infrastructure of big cities, where deficit of sites available for construction facilities have turned into the major cornerstone of city builders worldwide.
