 Services and Logistics Trade Fair is going to start again, with many important novelties, for the second time in the futuristic Milan Exhibition Centre from 7^th to 10^th May 2009. The 10^th edition, the 1^st in the Milan Exhibition Centre, reconfirmed Transpotec Logitec as the leading Exhibition for the whole of South Europe, with brilliant results in terms of exhibitors and visitors, especially from abroad: during the four days of the event on an exhibition area of 220,000 sq.m., there were 800 exhibitors, 150 foreign, and more than 80,000 operators, 12% coming from Europe, the Middle East, Latin America and even Africa. A result that was helped and amplified by the great participation of transport and logistics category operators. The success of Transpotec Logitec was increased even further, thanks to the campaigns with specialised and daily press: overall there were 300 credited journalists, 10% from all over Europe.

With these results, Transpotec Logitec starts working full of enthusiasm for the new edition, which will repropose the successful 2006 formula with lots of news. First of all it will be held in odd years, so as not to clash with OICA and other important European trade fairs, with the aim of increasing the importance of the Exhibition in the international scene, and prevent being held at the same time as other important fairs like Hanover and Samoter. The next edition will be held in 2009. Another important change regards the occupation of the pavilions in the Milan fairground. With the aim of rationalising space, and making it easier for operators to visit the trade fair, the next Transpotec will be held in the East wing of the centre, instead of extending lengthways, and will be held in four even number pavilions (2—4, 6—10) and four odd numbers (1—3, 5—7), with an internal exhibition area of 160,000 sq.m. The same external area of 60,000 sq.m. will remain unchanged, for all the vehicle tests and new attractions for the public, especially on Saturday and Sunday.

The goods transport supply chain will present the latest in products and services, from industrial and commercial vehicle manufacturers, trailers, semi-trailers, heavy goods transport accessories and components and tankers. For the second year running, Logitec will be there, the most complete exhibition platform for logistics, addressed to production and distribution company managers; a complete exhibition of infrastructures, storage, computer solutions and applications for transport, rail, port and airport systems, intermodal services and public administration services. Alongside the new exhibition features, there will also be a high level instruction proposal, on the most topical subjects relative to organised transport and logistics, involving professional independent trainers, which in the 2006 edition recorded 2,000 participants in more than 30 different seminars.
