The Exhibition is organized by «IT-expo» Ltd. under supporting of Moscow Government, Ministry of Industry, Science and Technologies of Russian Federation and Russian Academy of Science. Softool Exhibition’s main departments are CASE-technologies, Hardware, General Purpose Software Programs, Applied Systems, Geo Information Systems, Computer Systems for Industry, Information Management Systems, CAD/CAM, Communication Systems and Units, Artificial Intelligence, Bank’s Technologies, Data Protection Systems, Trade Systems, Games, Computers, etc.
Under influence of this show, the computer technologies market is mainly forming and developing in Russia. For the first time, Softool appeared in 1990 and since that year each fall it attracts a big number of participants and visitors from all Russia and CIS. ASP Linux, Apple Computer, Autodesk, Aladdin R. D., Computer Associates, ESRI, Inprice Corporation, Intel Corp., IBM, Intergraph, Lipro, MAS Electronic, Microsoft, Navision, Platinum, Rainbow technologies, SUN and many other companies were the SofTool exhibitors. The organizational committee of exhibition includes academicians, governmental representatives of Russia and Moscow. SofTool is visited by the delegations of industrial groups, ministries and authorities.
