SaloneSatellite is an unmissable event and a great crowd-pulling catalyst. It will be held again this year with its line-up of creative young talent at the service of businesses. In 2010 the organisers will be working in partnership with the Municipality of Milan. SaloneSatellite 2010 is promised to become a truly special and unique event that will tie modern and antique furnishing in with a special pedigree mapping out the origins of Made in Italy.

The event welcomes students of industrial design, designers and architects, under the age of 35. No manufacturers, whether industrial or artisan, will be admitted. Design schools and universities may participate only under invitation received by Fondazione Cosmit Eventi. Admissions are subject to the approval of a panel of architects, designers, journalists and manufacturers.

Statistics of SaloneSatellite 2009: 167 exhibit spaces, showcasing 702 designers (including 420 foreign designers from 36 countries) with 22 design schools and universities; display area - 3,406 sqm. The closing number of visitors - 19,315.
