A visit to the International Travel Market Cologne (Reisemesse Koln International — RKI) puts everyone in a holiday mood. Colourful live shows, exciting prize competitions and fascinating attractions convey a pleasant foretaste of total fun and leisure. Following three days of travel mania in Halls 6 and 7 of the Cologne exhibition centre, it was clear that the RKI had made a perfect landing, with its 582 exhibitors from 40 countries on five continents attracting visitors from all over North Rhine-Westphalia. According to the initial results of the exhibitor survey, 75 per cent of the respondents were highly satisfied with the trade fair, and well over two-thirds were extremely satisfied with the number of visitors.

Every year in November/Dezember the International Travel Market Cologne marks the start of the new holiday season. Most holiday-makers plan their holidays before Christmas and the holiday companies’ brochures are fresh off the printing press.
