MSE is the only Italian event in Italy dedicated to seafood and processing in the Mediterranean. Offers the sector’s trade members a priceless opportunity for meeting the markets with big figures: catering and large-scale distribution. MSE is dedicated to seafood produce in all forms — from fresh produce to preserved and gourmet seafood products, as well as processing, preservation, marketing, distribution and transport technology. It therefore involves a sector that is vital for Italy’s fishing economy, wich has a fleet with a gross tonnage of 187.000 tons and gives employment to a workforce of 99.000. As well as that, there’s the preservation business, wich involves 124.000 tons of produce, for a value of 715 milion euros. The event also ffers a meeting point between Europe’s key players in the economy, seafood trade institutions and associations.
