From the beginning of 2008 the cultural-educational project " the International exhibition of a calligraphy” was realized by the MVK exhibition company initiative. Each stage of its realization became a mark in history of new Russia, and interest to the project has surpassed the most courageous expectations of organizers.It started in St.-Petersburg where in a building of the Russian Academy of arts with tremendous success there has passed the first International exhibition of a calligraphy. About 70 leading calligraphers from 26 countries of the world took part in it.
  
The Modern museum of a calligraphy and the National Union of Calligraphers is based and opened in Moscow . Recently the Museum has been accepted in collective members of the International advice of museums (ICOM).
Within the limits of the project are: special exposition of " Secret of a world calligraphy " (December, 2008), " Day of the Japanese calligraphy " (March, 2009), festival of the Japanese culture "Oriental cherry" (April, 2009), the master-classes with participation of calligraphers from the different countries of the world, are realized significant art and educational programs. " II International exhibition of a calligraphy " will pass in Moscow from October 14th till November 14th 2009 also there will be competition on a theme " the Orthodox calligraphy " with participation of leading masters from the different countries of the world and will be presented the new section " the Sacral calligraphy " . Representatives of 33 countries plan to take part In an exhibition.   
The exhibition passes under aegis of the Commission of the Russian Federation on affairs of UNESCO, supported by the Ministry of culture of the Russian Federation, a management of Russian Orthodox Church that emphasizes its special importance in business of preservation of a world cultural heritage-historical.
The plans of the project focus on carrying out of presentation of an exhibition in Paris, and in the future - carrying out of " the International exhibition of a calligraphy " in the largest capitals of the world. The calligraphy is painting in letters, secrets of symbols and signs, of this reflection of think, image, character.
