Выставка Fashion Industry

The Fashion Industry Exhibition Project is a part of «Russian weeks of textiles and fashion» (Concern «Rostextil» Public Corporation / «Textilexpo» Joint-Stock Company).

It is listed among the most significant events supported by Saint Petersburg City Administration and the Government of Leningrad region. Fashion Industry International Fair also has close relationship with Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the North-Western region of Russia and Governments of other Russian Regions. The exhibition is awarded by the Medal of the International Union of Exhibitions and Fairs.

 

The most important purpose of the exhibition: Is creation of the universal business-to-business ground for companies working in the industry of fashion by the scheme “production-distribution-retail trade-serving” by means of best conditions for one"s production demonstration, marketing research of the textile and garment industry and competitiveness of production. During the Fair professionals also have a great opportunity to exchange business experience and conclude new contracts with distributors, manufacturers, retailers.

Business program of the exhibition: The most important business event during the Fair is the Economic Forum of the Industry of Fashion. In spring 2008 it was participated by over 400 experts of the branch — manufactures, retail buyers, designers, University teachers and students and mass media agents.

The Economic Forum of the Industry of Fashion includes different kinds of specialized seminars and workshop-trainings, round tables meetings and presentations of the leading branch entrepreneurs, mass-media agents and exhibitors.

During the Fair there are also daily defiles of participants" clothes and lingerie collections at the Fair podium.
