Build IT Berlin serves as a platform for conventions, conferences and seminars conducted by industry associations, government ministries and institutions along with an increasing number of exhibiting companies.

For the past five years, the German Federal Ministry for Economics and Labor has organized the «Built On IT — Construction Jobs with a Future» competition deigned to support upcoming young talent in the construction industry. Another established feature of the professional sideline programme is the Exhibitor Forum located at the heart of the trade show activities. This forum offers a series of lectures, workshops, panel discussions, product presentations, video conferences, and other special features.
