Almoneda, the Antiques and Art Galleries Fair, will bring together the largest and most comprehensive range of items from the past, all of which are at least 50 years old, during the course of its nineteenth edition.
Around 180 galleries, antique dealers and art galleries from all over Spain have confirmed their participation at this edition, bringing with them more than 25,000 authentic and unique items from all around the world. This fair, which is open to the general public and features direct sale to visitors, will be a key event for all those who are fascinated by the past and interested in unique and unusual items, affordable collectables, art and antiques in general.

The nearly 26,000 visitors that this fair is likely to receive, will enjoy a comprehensive tour of our recent past, one in which old objects and antiques play a prominent role. In this respect, by strolling around the fair they will come across designer furniture from the 1950"s, 1960"s and 1970"s, collector"s items, archaeological artifacts, silverware, Isabelline jewellery, timepieces, glassware, dolls, dresses, shawls, walking-sticks, rugs, lamps, tribal art, books and many other items. These unique items from other ages, packed with history, recollections and contrasts and offered at some highly affordable prices, will be complemented by an interesting selection of paintings and sculptures by contemporary artists. In this sense, Almoneda constitutes a fascinating cultural event of general interest in its own right.
